Artist, Designer, Photographer, and Experience Developer
I am a freelance digital artist from Chicago with a passion for creating multimedia projects with elements of photography, graphic design, illustration and motion design.
I seek to remedy the structural violence of environmental racism by platforming the underserved communities it affects most through an interactive game-like experience that presents my research alongside surreal mixed media environments, composed of data visualizations, photography, and video from those areas.
Chicago-based communications director, designer, and photographer with a decade of experience across nonprofit communications, graphic design, photography, motion graphics, and 3D/immersive production. Currently leads communications for a national Muslim organization; past work spans major brand and entertainment clients (Nike, Fall Out Boy, Kesha) as well as civic and nonprofit organizations (City of Chicago, Chicago Public Schools, Storycatchers Theatre). Created 3D forms, graphics, animations, and interactive environments as part of Nike's Serena Williams Design Crew and Men's Lifestyle footwear design process.
Created 2D animations from vector art, and 3D motion graphics with multimedia ink illustrations, for onstage performances during Fall Out Boy's 2018 concert tour.
Produced photography, video, logos, and posters for performances by a not-for-profit organization working with youth in correctional facilities.

Began as an apprentice and advanced to assistant instructor for the Gallery 37 Graphic Design Program.
Worked at the Chicago Cultural Center designing posters, postcards, and T-shirts, and capturing event photography and video for promotional campaigns. Initially worked as an assistant instructor for the graphic design program of Gallery 37 through After School Matters for two school years. Hired high school students as interns to participate in the program and helped teach them the elements of design, technical skills regarding using design software, and how to apply what they learned towards producing work for real-world clients.
